Night of Extreme Cuisine Fundraiser

Place: A.V. Fairgrounds Poppy Pavillion
The Night of Extreme Cuisine has proven to be a night of entertainment where the community has a chance to sample some of the finest foods and wines of our valley and the surrounding area. There will be a silent auction and a wonderful $20,000.00 car raffle!  Each year the proceeds from A Night of Extreme Cuisine help provide tuition assistance scholarships and support our long term endowment fund for students in financial need.  For information about the event, tickets, and sponsorship opportunities go to:

Sacred Heart Parish Women’s Silent Retreat
Date: April 30th - May 2nd
Here is an opportunity for a silent retreat with the Carmelite Sisters that consists of: conferences, opportunity for Spiritual Direction, Mass, Sacrament of Reconciliation, time for private prayer, reflection and Eucharistic Adoration.
Retreat Master: Rev. Bruce Nieli, C.S.P.
Theme: “Deus Caristas Est, God is Love”
The Retreat begins at 5:00PM on Friday and ends at 12:30PM on Sunday. (two nights, 5 meals)  Bus transportation will be provided.  Space is limited.  Please call your Sacred Heart District Captain, Ely Barragan at (661) 949-6698 to reserve your room.
