Since1990, the National Coalition for the Homeless has sponsored National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, every year on December 21st, the first day of winter and the longest night of the year.
On December 21, 2023, at 7pm, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, we invite you to join us in solidarity with hundreds of people gathering in cities throughout the country. We will take this time to remember 1,665 brothers and sisters who lost their lives while living on the streets within our neighborhoods in Los Angeles County.
