INCYC
EL CAMINO | THE WAY
Dear Pastors, The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) is excited to offer the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) to the youth of your diocese. This year, 2024 NCYC will be held November 14-
16, in Long Beach, CA. NCYC is the premiere national Catholic youth event that gathers people from across America for a life- changing encounter with Christ. NCYC is a powerfully unique three-day experience of prayer, community, evangelization, catechesis, service, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (of high school age) and
their adult chaperones. This year's theme - El Camino / The Way - is inspired by Isaiah 30:21 and the idea that we are called to be pilgrims of faith and follow the voice of Christ: "but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher, And your ears shall hear a word behind you: 'This is the way; walk in it." (Is 30:18-21). Young people across the country have expressed their thoughts on the idea that walking in faith can be hard at times, there are moments of joy and there are moments of frustration, just like there are deserts and
mountains. Join us on this pilgrimage for our young people!!!
What to expect at NCYC:
• Inspiring Speakers - This year's emcees: Maggie Craig, and Rhyan Ramirez • Mass & Adoration - Celebrate liturgy and the Eucharist with thousands, led by you, and other
bishops
• Music & Worship - Praise and entertainment led by Catholic artists • Interactive Exhibits - Games, crafts, obstacle courses, meetups, live radio shows, challenges, and
much more I invite you to learn more about NCYC by visiting ncyc.us and supporting our parish youth to experience
this life-changing opportunity.
Sincerely,
Bishop Albert Bahhuth
