Vocation, vocation, vocation to the priesthood…

We hope that you are doing well and had a great summer.
 
A mailing was recently sent out from our Office, which you should have received. Enclosed was our newly ordained poster which we hope you will display in a prominent place in your parish and school as we invite our parish communities to pray for them and priestly vocations. There was also information about some awesome things happening in the Archdiocese as we continue to promote vocations and journey with men who are considering the priesthood. These included posters for our Men’s Discernment Group (18+) and our High School Men’s Gathering, which will meet on Saturday, September 9^th, and Saturday, September 23^rd, respectively. Please invite men from your parish to attend and consider the priesthood.
 
Our upcoming annual Priests vs. Seminarians Basketball Game is scheduled Friday, October 13^th, at 7 pm at Cathedral High School, Los Angeles. If you would like to play in the upcoming game, please contact Fr. Louis Sung at [email protected]. The final roster is due by September 1^stas we will be ordering new jerseys and scheduling practices.
